Job Description

This opportunity is for a full-time, non-management Food and Beverage professional based in Irving, Texas. The position focuses on food preparation and quality control within the restaurant. The role entails preparing special meals or replacing food products, regulating the temperature of ovens, grills, and broilers, and ensuring that food portions and garnishing are accurate. Responsibilities also include thawing frozen food safely, maintaining food records, monitoring food quality and quantity, and communicating with kitchen management regarding surplus food items for daily specials.

Safety and cleanliness are crucial elements of the role, requiring adherence to company policies and safety protocols, reporting accidents or unsafe conditions, and ensuring a professional appearance at all times. The team member will support and assist during busy periods and maintain open communication with food and beverage staff concerning rejected items and available specials. Collaboration with colleagues and fostering positive work relationships is essential, as is anticipating and meeting guest service needs with professionalism.

Candidates will assist in food preparation according to recipes and quality standards, including the preparation of cold dishes. While supervisory experience is not mandatory, there is an expectation to support management in various employee-related tasks such as training, scheduling, evaluation, and motivating teammates by leading through example. The role demands physical stamina including standing, sitting, walking, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to 25 pounds as part of routine duties.

Job Requirements
