Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, standards, and proper presentation guidelines
  • Assist with daily kitchen preparation including chopping, portioning, seasoning, and organizing ingredients
  • Set up and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
  • Prepare food for restaurant, banquet, catering, and hotel events as assigned
  • Ensure all food is prepared and served according to quality standards
  • Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Monitor food temperatures and maintain proper storage practices
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products using FIFO procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas
  • Support the culinary team during busy service periods
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
