Job Duties
- Prepare special meals and replace products as needed
- regulate oven, grill, and rotisserie temperatures
- remove food from freezer to thaw in refrigerator
- ensure proper portioning, distribution, and garnishing of food
- maintain accurate food records
- monitor quality and quantity of prepared food
- communicate during high workload periods to request assistance
- inform chef of excess food for daily specials
- update food and beverage staff on rejected products and available specials
- assure quality of food products
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation checklists
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, advising, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
