Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and food handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good knowledge of food preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised
Job Qualifications

- Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food-handling procedures preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
- Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, keep records for planning and requisitioning supplies
- Perform significant walking and mobility tasks
- Stand or walk for extended periods during shifts
- Reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Perform repetitive motions
- Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned according to business needs
