The position of Banquet Kitchen team member is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage & Culinary category, providing an hourly wage of $23.25. This role is vital in supporting the kitchen operations that contribute to the exceptional culinary experience offered by the hotel. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing special meals and substitute items with attention to detail in portion, arrangement, and garnish ensuring that every dish meets the Ritz-Carlton's high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities include regulating oven and broiler temperatures, thawing food properly, maintaining food logs, and monitoring the quality and quantity of food produced.
In addition to food preparation, the Banquet Kitchen team member communicates effectively with Food & Beverage service staff regarding menu specials and availability, assisting with busy periods by requesting additional support as needed. The position requires adherence to safety and security policies, reporting maintenance or safety issues promptly, and maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality. Working in this role involves physical activity such as standing for extended periods and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 3 years of related work experience
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
