The role being hired for is a full-time position that supports the culinary operations within W Hotels by preparing ingredients, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene. The position involves a range of food preparation activities such as portioning, chopping, washing, and measuring ingredients in accordance with company recipes and quality guidelines. The incumbent will operate kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers, ensuring that food is cooked properly and presented attractively. A strong focus on food safety is essential, including monitoring appliance and food temperatures, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment, and following all safety protocols.

Additionally, the role requires excellent teamwork and communication skills to foster a positive work environment. The candidate must be able to handle physical demands such as standing, bending, lifting, and moving ingredients and equipment up to 25 pounds. This position provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a high school diploma or GED equivalent and at least one year of related work experience looking to grow their career in a globally respected hospitality brand. Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food
