The role of Cook I at SodexoMagic, based at the American Airlines Flagship Lounge in Miami (MIA), invites energetic and dedicated culinary professionals to join a dynamic team where passion for food and outstanding customer service intersect. This full-time position offers steady hourly pay of $19.75 and requires open availability to varying shifts, providing flexibility in work schedules. As a Cook I, you will be integral to the preparation and presentation of nutritious and appealing dishes for multiple meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and specialized catered events. The job demands a balance of culinary skill and teamwork, as well as a commitment to food waste reduction and a healthy, safe kitchen environment.

Your daily responsibilities will include accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting both hot and cold food items while carefully following recipes and product directions. Additionally, you may operate an a la carte station or grill as part of your duties. Punctuality and reliability are essential, as is adaptability to various tasks depending on the client and location requirements. Job Duties

  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned according to business necessities and client requirements
