Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
  • ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • maintain regular attendance
  • comply with company standards and grooming policies
  • maintain certification requirements as applicable

Job Qualifications

  • have thorough knowledge of menus and food preparation
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • certification in food handling and safety is a plus

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with company standards
  • maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • comply at all times with company standards and regulations
  • comply with certification requirements including food handlers and safety
  • maintain a friendly and warm demeanor
  • have thorough knowledge of menus and preparation requirements
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas
  • complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening
  • prepare and display buffet food items according to standards
  • maintain post on kitchen line during operating hours
  • operate and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment
  • maintain the clean as you go policy
  • assist in storage and rotation of food items
  • sign keys out and back in under supervision
  • attend meetings as required
  • perform any other duties as requested by management
