Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a leading provider of hospitality services, specifically known for managing concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at iconic venues such as the Green Bay Packers' Lambeau Field and Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Established in 2012, Delaware North has built a reputation for delivering exceptional guest experiences through its diverse and innovative culinary offerings. One of their signature venues, Homefield Pub and Social, offers a vibrant atmosphere featuring Topgolf Swing Suites and hosts seasonal special events like sledding and ice skating, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. Delaware North operates as a family-owned global company with more than 100 years of history, emphasizing employee growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to hospitality excellence across all its locations worldwide.

The part-time Cook position at Homefield Pub and Social is a critical role focused on supporting the culinary team in food preparation and maintaining high food quality standards. This role offers an hourly wage of $16.00 and provides an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about cooking and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Cook will be responsible for preparing food following strict portion sizes, quality standards, and departmental protocols to ensure each dish meets the established guidelines. In addition to food preparation, the Cook will maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, equipment, and storage areas. Food waste control and accurate inventory recording are vital parts of this role, fostering operational efficiency and minimizing loss.

As a valued member of the Delaware North team, the Cook will benefit from a comprehensive suite of perks designed to support both personal and professional development. This includes weekly pay, employee discounts, training and development opportunities, and flexible work schedules to promote work-life balance. Eligible team members further qualify for health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans with company matching, paid vacation and holiday leave, paid parental bonding leave, employee assistance programs, and tuition reimbursement for further education and professional certifications.

The ideal candidate for the Cook position should have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of back-of-the-house food service experience, preferably with familiarity in knife handling and culinary program participation or enrollment. Strong communication skills, the ability to read and understand recipes and food measurements accurately, and the capacity to thrive in a high-energy environment are essential traits. Physical stamina is necessary to stand and walk for entire shifts and to perform manual kitchen tasks such as chopping, mixing, and blending. The role often requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility in shift availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position offers a dynamic workplace within an internationally recognized hospitality company, providing both growth potential and the chance to be part of a global legacy where employees are treated like family. Delaware North’s commitment to diversity and equal opportunity employment further enriches their inclusive culture, making this an attractive opportunity for aspiring hospitality professionals seeking to advance their culinary careers in an exciting setting.
