Job Requirements
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Must have basic math skills
- Must enjoy working with students
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including the ability to lift up to 40 pounds as assessed through a preplacement physical at Concentra

- ServSafe certification desirable
- Computer experience helpful

Job Duties
- Follow cook manager or cook’s instruction in heating, cooking, and pre-dishing food, as well as setting up serving areas
- Follow instructions in portioning, garnishing and serving of food items
- Follow instructions and procedures in clean-up of kitchen and serving areas
- Follow standards of safety and sanitation in handling, storing and serving of food items
- Accurately perform record keeping functions as requested by cook manager
- Assist in preparing food items
- Perform point-of-sale and cashiering duties as part of kitchen rotation
- Perform other duties of a similar nature or level
