Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- experience in cooking preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment
- ability to work early morning shifts and rotating weekends
- successful completion of background screening
- ability to follow safety and hygiene regulations
- good physical stamina for kitchen work
- reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- experience cooking in healthcare skilled nursing or senior living settings preferred
- knowledge of various cooking methods ingredients equipment and procedures
- ability to work effectively in a team
- good time management skills
- basic food safety knowledge
- excellent communication skills
- high school diploma or equivalent
Job Duties
- prepare food for service including chopping vegetables and butchering meat
- prepare sauces and cook menu items in cooperation with kitchen staff
- ensure food is delivered simultaneously and of high quality
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- assist in inventory management and stock supplies
- contribute to a positive team environment
