The Cook, Grill (Full Time) position at the Halal Shack at George Washington University offers a dynamic role where you are responsible for preparing food items at the grill station according to federal, state, and corporate standards. You will be tasked with preparing customer orders including items that require short preparation times, serving customers in a friendly, efficient manner, and maintaining food quality with proper temperature, presentation, and taste. The position demands attention to detail in adhering to recipes and portion control to ensure consistency and satisfaction. Duties also include maintaining adequate food safety practices such as proper storage, wrapping, and labeling, as well as sanitizing all work areas and equipment. You will be part of a fast-paced team environment that values good communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude. The role’s schedule is full-time, and shifts may vary depending on the business needs, with open availability preferred. The fixed pay rate is $22.70 per hour.
