As a Cook at Warm Springs or Quail Hollow Golf Course, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall guest experience by preparing, cooking, and presenting a wide variety of tasty dishes. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a fast-paced setting that changes daily, ensuring no two workdays are ever the same. You will be responsible for working with commercial kitchen equipment, managing inventory, and contributing to menu creativity by developing new food and presentation ideas. The role requires a keen eye for quality and consistency, adherence to food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Beyond cooking, customer interaction through positive service skills is emphasized to ensure a delightful dining experience for members and guests. Job Requirements

  • minimum age of 17 years
  • ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds occasionally
  • capacity to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, grasp, climb and balance
  • willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow food safety regulations
  • ability to work safely around mechanical hazards and chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • open to all interested persons age 17 and above
  • previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • basic knowledge of food safety practices

Job Duties

  • prepares meals to order using commercial kitchen equipment
  • prepares inventory and ordering to ensure kitchen is adequately stocked and expenses are properly managed
  • develops new food and presentation ideas
  • ensures the highest quality and consistency of food preparation and presentation and that all food safety regulations are followed
  • maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times and helps ensure the safety of fellow employees
  • uses positive customer service skills to interact with clients and provide a high quality dining experience
  • performs other duties as assigned
