Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation required
- Knowledge of elderly care and dementia preferred
- Food Service Sanitation certificate as per State or Local regulations
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Capability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Ability to speak English understandably
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food preparation
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly individuals preferred
- Previous dementia care experience preferred
- Possess Food Service Sanitation certificate according to State or Local requirements
- Ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols
- Strong communication skills in English
Job Duties
- Prepare appetizing and nutritious meals for residents
- Assist the Culinary Services Coordinator in managing food service functions
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
