The Line Cook position is integral to our kitchen team, focusing on the preparation and production of both hot and cold dishes across a variety of dining venues. This role requires not only strong culinary skills and a passion for food quality but also a commitment to maintaining an organized and sanitary kitchen environment throughout the shift. The Line Cook works closely with fellow team members to plan, prep, and execute menu items efficiently, ensuring that every dish served meets our high standards. This full-time role involves working from Monday to Saturday between 11am and 7pm, and Sunday from 6am to 2pm, offering an hourly wage range of $19.00 to $21.00 depending on experience. This position is ideal for culinary professionals eager to grow and develop their skills within a friendly and collaborative setting, surrounded by a team that values dedication and a strong work ethic.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • basic food handler certification
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • availability to work scheduled hours including weekends
  • attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • experience working as a line cook or similar culinary role
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • plan and prep for hot and cold food productions for various dining venues
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area throughout the shift
  • prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • ensure compliance with federal, state and local food safety regulations
  • collaborate with culinary team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • monitor food quality and presentation
  • assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
