We are currently seeking a full-time Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This position offers a schedule of 7 AM to 7 PM, working every other weekend, with competitive hourly compensation ranging from $17.23 to $21.00. As a Cook here, you will play a critical role in supporting the nutritional health and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors by preparing high-quality meals that meet dietary specifications and safety standards.
The successful candidate will be someone who embodies a service-oriented mindset and thrives in a dynamic, team-focused environment. As a Cook, you will be responsible for delivering excellent food preparation and service, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen spaces, and adhering to quality control and portion standards. You will also take on a leadership role during the Manager’s absence, supervising kitchen staff and upholding facility policies and procedures focused on infection control, safety, and sanitation. This role demands attention to detail, the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions accurately, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure smooth kitchen operation and excellence in food service delivery.

Job Requirements
- one year cooking experience required
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- completion of state or local food safety training course preferred
- ability to accept and understand verbal and written instructions
- willingness to help with various kitchen tasks
- ability to maintain sanitation, safety, and infection control standards
- post offer employment testing (POETs) required
Job Qualifications
- one year cooking experience required
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- culinary arts degree preferred
- completion of state or local food safety training course preferred
- healthcare experience preferred

- prepare foods for patients, staff, and guests
