As a cook, you will be responsible for preparing meals using standardized recipes, maintaining correct portion control, and ensuring food is served at the appropriate temperature with appealing presentation. Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and presentation standards
- Taste all prepared food items for quality assurance
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Store or discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies
