Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday
  • availability for day shift
  • ability to adhere to safety and sanitation procedures
  • capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with cooking
  • willingness to follow company policies and procedures

  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety guidelines
  • knowledge of proper food handling and storage procedures
  • strong attention to detail and quality
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • commitment to safety protocols and teamwork

Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature
  • taste all prepared food items
  • use established ticket collection procedures during service
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen
  • store or discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • report maintenance issues and accidents to supervisor
  • attend in-service and safety meetings
  • maintain good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • ensure proper food presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
  • follow HACCP standards
  • perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
