Currently, Bon Appetit is hiring for full-time Cook positions at their Adidas location situated at 5055 North Greely Avenue in Portland, Oregon. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about creating high-quality food in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary and occasional requirements for nights and weekends. Job Requirements
- Previous cooking experience is required
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
- Knowledge of federal, state and corporate food safety regulations
- Ability to work Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to comply with company safety policies
- Must be able to pass background screening if required

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
- Taste all prepared food items
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen after preparation and serving, adhering to high standards
- Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
