The role at Plymouth Place centers on preparing and serving food products in accordance with recipes and guidance from the Executive Chef while upholding strict food handling, sanitation, and safety standards. Job Duties

  • Prepare food products in compliance with recipes and direction from the Executive Chef
  • Serve and garnish food products as directed on production records
  • Alert Chef to any edits on the recipe or inventory changes
  • Demonstrate skill in hot and cold food production and willingness to learn culinary skills
  • Maintain food quality by producing food timely and serving at proper temperature
  • Maintain and operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and sanitarily
  • Work as a team member to complete meals on time and support co-workers
  • Organize the station efficiently to produce orders
  • Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diet for Healthcare Unit
  • Follow safe food handling and storage procedures
  • Maintain sanitation standards daily
  • Comply with personal hygiene standards
  • Participate in meal service
  • Comply with federal, state, and local laws as well as Plymouth Place policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Attend in-service and education programs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
