- Sanitation certification
- 3-5 years cooking experience

- Knowledge of recipes and current measurements and serving sizes
- Quality control of plating and service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or related software
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient for job duties and communication with residents, families, and employees
Job Duties
- Prepare food products in compliance with recipes and direction from the Executive Chef
- Serve and garnish food products as directed on production records
- Alert Chef to any edits on the recipe or inventory changes
- Demonstrate skill in hot and cold food production and willingness to learn culinary skills
- Maintain food quality by producing food timely and serving at proper temperature
- Maintain and operate kitchen equipment and utensils safely and sanitarily
- Work as a team member to complete meals on time and support co-workers
- Organize the station efficiently to produce orders
- Demonstrate knowledge of specialized diet for Healthcare Unit
- Follow safe food handling and storage procedures
- Maintain sanitation standards daily
- Comply with personal hygiene standards
- Participate in meal service
- Comply with federal, state, and local laws as well as Plymouth Place policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Attend in-service and education programs
- Perform all other duties as assigned
