Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in fine dining cooking required
  • Availability to work full-time Friday through Tuesday including weekends
  • Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Prior fine dining cooking experience
  • Experience in lounge operations preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production schedules
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen areas maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • Abides by all company safety policies and uses protective gear as required
  • Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
