The Cook position at Flik Hospitality Group is a full-time role requiring availability from Friday through Tuesday, with weekend shifts being mandatory. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in fine dining cooking required
- Availability to work full-time Friday through Tuesday including weekends
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to handle kitchen tasks including lifting and standing for long periods
- Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production schedules
- Serves meals using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
- Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen areas maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
- Abides by all company safety policies and uses protective gear as required
- Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
