Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Ability to work full-time with flexible hours including weekends
- Capability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
- Must comply with safety regulations including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Prior cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work varying schedules including rotating weekends
- Commitment to safety practices in the kitchen environment
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals using correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
- Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and service
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving food and supplies
