Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time with flexible hours including weekends
  • Capability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Must comply with safety regulations including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and food presentation
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work varying schedules including rotating weekends
  • Commitment to safety practices in the kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals using correct portioning, temperature, and presentation
  • Tastes all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Cleans kitchen areas after preparation and service
  • Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving food and supplies
