This Cook role is integral to maintaining the high standards of food quality and safety that Eurest upholds. The position requires kitchen experience and involves preparing food according to established federal, state, and company guidelines. The Cook will follow standardized recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation, serve or prepare meals for delivery, and manage food portioning and temperature. This role operates during a full-time schedule, typically from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, with days varying as needed. The hourly wage ranges from $19.00 to $24.00, reflecting the importance of experience and skill in meeting the company’s standards.

Beyond food preparation, the Cook is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, adhering to safe food-handling procedures, and managing inventory storage efficiently. Job Duties

  • prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • tastes all prepared food items
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • responsible for records from area worked during service periods
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
