Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning and ensuring food is at correct temperature and attractive
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required
- Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
- Performs job safely and maintains a clean, safe work environment
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures
- Adheres to company safety policies, including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Performs other duties as assigned
