Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
- Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Store or discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures according to HACCP standards
