The Cook position at Bon Appetit is a full-time role located at the Disney Studios in Glendale, California. This role is essential in maintaining the high food quality and safety standards that Bon Appetit is known for. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, with hours that may vary and are subject to change. The pay rate is fixed at $25.40 per hour, with additional benefits such as free shift meals, holiday pay, and a safety shoe allowance. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions. This ensures production, delivery, and service schedules are consistently met. You will be expected to serve meals or prepare them for delivery, ensuring correct portion sizes, attractive presentation, and appropriate temperature, all while adhering to food safety and HACCP standards. Taste testing and record-keeping are part of the daily tasks to guarantee quality control. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas aligns with safety protocols and company policies.
The role requires operating and maintaining kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, assisting in production planning, ordering, and receiving supplies. Job Requirements
- Prior station cooking, grill, or scratch cooking experience required
- Ability to work full-time, Monday through Thursday with variable hours
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
- Must adhere to company policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cooking and kitchen maintenance
- Willingness to attend safety and in-service meetings
- Must be able to comply with background screening if applicable

- Prior experience in station cooking, grill, or scratch cooking

Job Duties
