Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cook experience preferably in healthcare setting
- Ability to work full-time with rotating shifts including weekends
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks required by the job
- Good communication skills
- Availability to comply with company policies and procedures

- Ability to follow standardized recipes and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensure food temperature and appearance meet standards
- Taste all prepared food items for quality control
- Use ticket collection procedures during service
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Store or discard excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of supplies
- Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Perform job safely and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Ensure proper portion control and serving temperature following HACCP standards
- Follow company safety policies including use of gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes
