The company is currently hiring for full-time Cook positions at its location within Anduril in Costa Mesa, California. This role provides an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality dining services in a fast-paced environment. The Cook will be responsible for preparing food according to standardized recipes and corporate guidelines to ensure consistency, taste, and presentation meet the company’s elevated standards. This position requires adherence to all food safety regulations while maintaining excellent sanitation and kitchen organization.
Working full time Monday through Friday, with occasional nights and weekends, the Cook will engage in preparing and serving meals, monitoring portion control, and ensuring food is served at the correct temperature. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of prior kitchen experience or high-volume food production and preferably holds a valid Food Handler’s card. Processing orders, maintaining inventory, cleaning kitchen areas, and collaborating with team members to execute smooth kitchen operations are integral parts of the job.

Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of previous kitchen experience or high volume food production experience preferred
- Valid Food Handler’s card preferred
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday with occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to follow established recipes and food handling guidelines
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Job Qualifications
- Minimum two years of previous kitchen experience or high volume food production experience

Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and visually appealing
- Taste prepared food items to ensure quality
- Use established ticket collection procedures during service
- Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness standards
- Store or discard excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting
- Assist in ordering and receiving food and supplies
- Report maintenance needs or faulty equipment to supervisor immediately
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and management
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures abiding by HACCP standards
- Follow company safety policies including use of cut gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- Perform other duties as assigned
