Job Duties

  • Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and presentation standards
  • Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
  • Use ticket collection procedures during service
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food storage areas
  • Store or discard excess food safely
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assist in production planning, record keeping, and inventory management
  • Report maintenance needs or accidents promptly
  • Attend in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and management
  • Follow safety procedures and use protective gear when handling kitchen tools and equipment
  • Ensure proper food presentation and temperature control according to HACCP standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
