Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and presentation standards
- Taste all prepared food items to ensure quality
- Use ticket collection procedures during service
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food storage areas
- Store or discard excess food safely
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assist in production planning, record keeping, and inventory management
- Report maintenance needs or accidents promptly
- Attend in-service and safety meetings
- Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and management
- Follow safety procedures and use protective gear when handling kitchen tools and equipment
- Ensure proper food presentation and temperature control according to HACCP standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
