The role of Cook at Franke Tobey Jones is a full-time position integral to the successful operation of the food service department. The cook works closely with the Chef and Senior Director of Dining Services to ensure the smooth functioning of the kitchen and the delivery of high-quality meals to the residents. Job Requirements
- Reading English and effective communication skills
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year experience as a cook
- Experience in a commercial kitchen and/or a senior living facility preferred
- Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people
- Ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Ability to problem-solve
- Washington State Food Handler's Card
- Pass background and drug screens
