Working Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, the Cook will be responsible for preparing food items according to standardized recipes, maintaining proper portioning, temperature, and presentation standards. Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production and service schedules
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and ensures food is at the proper temperature and presentation standards
- Uses ticket collection procedures and maintains accurate records during service periods
- Cleans kitchen and stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized while ensuring proper food storage
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, ordering, receiving of food and supplies, and reports maintenance needs or accidents promptly
