Job Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent
  • One year experience in nursing home or hospital type setting as a cook preferred
  • SERVSafe certification required or to be obtained within three months of hiring
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Able to perform basic math calculations including weights, temperatures, fractions, measurements
  • Able to measure solids and liquids according to recipe specifications
  • Must be reliable and consistently at work when scheduled

  • Follow written and verbal instructions carefully
  • Measure ingredients accurately using weights, temperatures, fractions, and measurements
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
