Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery with correct portioning and attractive presentation
  • uses ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers
  • performs job safely following company policies and safety procedures
