Job Requirements

- Previous experience in a professional kitchen
- Basic knowledge of cooking methods and kitchen tools
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team

- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment

Job Duties
- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods including grill, sauté, and fry
- Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment
- Read and recreate recipes
- Maintain consistency on all food preparation
- Minimize food waste through cross utilization
- Work with the culinary leadership team to create menus
- Create workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients for cooking such as chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Be responsible for the quality of ingredients
