West Henderson Hospital is a leading acute care hospital located in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is a key part of The Valley Health System (VHS). Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous food preparation experience preferred
  • Graduation from an institutional cooking program preferred
  • Valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • Ability to demonstrate necessary knowledge and skills for service
  • Ability to work varied full-time shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Graduation from a formal school specializing in institutional cooking preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation preferred
  • Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate food service
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare, season, and cook food for patients, employees, physicians, and visitors
  • Ensure timely and appropriate food preparation
