We are currently seeking a hospitality-focused Cook to join our Community Culinary Services Department. This is a hands-on production cooking position that places a high emphasis on both culinary excellence and superior quality service. As a Cook at Northpointe Woods, you will have a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious and visually appealing meals that meet the dietary needs of our senior residents while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of one year of cooking experience in restaurant, senior living, or equivalent setting
- ability to adhere to strict cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
- capability to work efficiently under pressure

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Exemplify community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operational organization at all times
- maintain strict adherence to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards
- produce and serve menu cycle programs compliant with nutritional and dietary criteria as mandated by local regulations, prepare specialized diets per policy and procedure
- work with cooking standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- demonstrate comprehensive knowledge in all areas of cooking preparation and production
- assist with serving meals and ware washing as needed
- periodically visit residents to evaluate food service quality, quantity, temperature, and appearance and conduct evaluations to promote improved food service
- represent the community in a warm and inviting manner
- support creating a culture where business decisions combined with employee engagement drive top-line revenue and occupancy
