This part-time Culinary Assistant position, based at 744 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, WI, offers a 0.60 FTE status, equating to 24 hours per week, with a work schedule of 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., including rotating weekends and holidays. The Culinary Assistant plays an essential role in the food service operations within the organization. The primary responsibilities include preparing all food items while paying close attention to the census and modifying recipes accordingly. This role requires both hot and cold food preparation, as well as baking specialty items. Additionally, the Culinary Assistant is responsible for restocking food and supplies, cleaning work areas and equipment, conducting inventory and ordering food supplies, washing dishes and cookware, and performing general cleaning duties to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.

The role is ideal for individuals with one to two years of cooking or food preparation experience, who are looking to contribute to a healthcare organization that values health and wellness for both its patients and employees. A state-approved Serve Safe Certification is required within six months of the start date, ensuring that food safety protocols are followed rigorously.
