The role of Cook at Edward Hospital in Naperville is a key position within this healthcare system, responsible for preparing specified menu items for patients, cafeteria services, and catered events. This full-time position requires adherence to stringent sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures to ensure patient and staff safety. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum two years cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) within 30 days of start
  • ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week
  • availability for rotating weekends and holidays shifts
  • ability to comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • physical ability to perform duties in a kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
