The institution prides itself on integrating high-quality nutrition with patient care, believing that food is an essential part of healing and wellness. Unlike traditional hospital food services, Intermountain Health employs a team of professional chefs, culinary leaders, cooks, and nutrition care associates who contribute to a guest-centric culture emphasizing hospitality and quality. The hospital features restaurant-quality cafes and catering events that uphold this philosophy, enhancing the patient and caregiver experience with thoughtful, nutritious, and delicious meals. The culture at Intermountain Health encourages innovation and encourages staff to embrace culinary excellence and teamwork within a dynamic and supportive environment.

The position also involves meaningful interaction with customers, whether patients, families, or staff, providing courteous and professional service that upholds Intermountain Health’s mission to enhance the healing experience through food.

Equipped with skills in food handling, food safety, and sanitation, successful candidates will embrace teamwork and communication with a dedicated approach to following instructions and working independently.
