In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of foods following strict production guidelines and recipes. The job involves setting up workstations with ingredients and tools, preparing ingredients through precise measuring, weighing, chopping, and peeling, using various utensils and equipment safely, and employing multiple cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming. You will also be tasked with properly storing food, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of your work environment, and delivering excellent customer service with a positive attitude. The position may require physical activity including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods, and adherence to wearing uniforms and personal protective equipment. Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling
  • ability to acquire food safety certification
  • basic math and counting skills
  • good interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to handle physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
  • willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment when required

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role required
  • validated knowledge of the basic principles of food preparation, various cooking methods, and food safety regulations such as accurate food handling, sanitation, and storage
  • must be able to acquire food safety certification
  • demonstrate basic math and counting skills
  • demonstrates interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes

  • arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
