Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least six months of relevant cooking experience
  • Ability to work an open schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Basic understanding of food safety regulations
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen tasks
  • Willingness to adhere to Hilton's values and standards
  • Previous banquet or catering experience preferred

  • Minimum of six months experience as a line cook in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards
  • Manage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner
  • Ensure knowledge of menu and all food products
  • Stock and maintain designated food stations
  • Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to regulations
  • Prepare requisitions for supplies and food items, as needed
