Job Requirements
- None
- One year of cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment
- ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager course or Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Availability to complete established competencies within the introductory period
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- One year of cooking experience in a restaurant or healthcare environment
- Certification as an ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or ANSI Accredited Food Manager course
- Certified Food Manager from the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District
- Ability to maintain food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare food for various areas of the department following established recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist with inventory control and storage of food items
- Complete all assigned competencies within the designated introductory period
- Support team members and perform other related duties as assigned
- Ensure timely and accurate meal preparation according to dietary requirements
