Job Description
Caesars Entertainment is a globally recognized leader in the hospitality and gaming industry, known for delivering extraordinary experiences to guests through its dynamic portfolio of resorts, casinos, and entertainment venues. With a commitment to their Mission, Vision, and Values, Caesars strives to create spectacular worlds that immerse, inspire, and connect people. The company emphasizes excellence and service as the core of their brand, fostering an inclusive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, respect, and continuous growth. Their corporate social responsibility framework, People Planet Play, highlights their dedication to economic development, wellbeing, and community impact, setting them apart as a responsible and people-focused employer.
The company is currently looking to expand its food and beverage team by hiring experienced cooks who share a passion for culinary arts and guest service. This full-time position offers competitive hourly wages ranging from $18.50 to $21.50, and opportunities to work at one of two unique dining venues: Tortazo, a fast-casual Mexican eatery by Michelin-starred Chef Rick Bayless, and Cross Street Grill, known for its comfort foods like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and desserts. The role is ideal for dependable and hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining high-quality food preparation and contribute to an engaging guest experience.
As a cook at Caesars, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely, clean, and efficient service by preparing menu items according to proper recipes and cooking methods. The job involves managing food production, maintaining consistency, and utilizing ingredients economically while adhering to strict sanitation and safety standards. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with shifts including swing (3:00 pm to 11:30 pm) and late swing (7:00 pm to 3:30 am), and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs. The cook will serve not only as a role model representing the company’s values but also as a vital team player who contributes to a warm and welcoming environment.
This opportunity offers numerous benefits, including comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance to support overall health, life and disability insurance for financial security, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, generous paid time off to foster a balanced lifestyle, education assistance for professional development, and exclusive team member discounts as recognition for valuable contributions. Caesars believes in family-style service, focusing on genuine relationships, mutual respect, and exceptional hospitality to both guests and colleagues alike.
Working at Caesars means joining a company that not only values diversity and equal opportunity but also engages in fair hiring practices and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities or special needs. The position requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 lbs, frequent bending, standing, and working in a fast-paced environment. Overall, this is a rewarding opportunity for a culinary professional to grow their career while contributing to a world-class hospitality brand.
