We are currently seeking a Taqueria Cook to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential for assisting in the preparation of the various meals offered at our taqueria, ensuring that each dish meets our quality standards before it reaches the customer. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head Cook to coordinate cooking activities and maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of kitchen floors, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment, which is crucial for health and safety standards. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a culinary team. The Taqueria Cook plays a vital role in delivering a great customer experience through efficient meal preparation and adherence to food safety protocols. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • good communication skills
  • ability to multitask under pressure
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • good organizational skills
  • ability to follow instructions accurately
  • basic knowledge of Mexican cuisine is a plus

  • assist in meal preparation at the taqueria
