We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Taqueria Cook to join our kitchen team. The Taqueria Cook will work closely with the Head Cook to coordinate the timely and proper preparation of food items, maintaining a productive and harmonious kitchen environment. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience working in a taqueria or similar food service environment is preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • flexibility to work various shifts
  • physical stamina to lift and move kitchen equipment
  • basic knowledge of kitchen safety protocols

Job Duties

  • help in the preparation of meals that are sold in the taqueria
  • maintain the cleaning and organization of the kitchen at a high level
  • coordinate with the head cook to prepare the meals properly
  • help maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, floors, refrigerators, and kitchen equipment
