Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- experience in kitchen required including food preparation and kitchen routine
- bilingual English-Spanish or English-Navajo helpful
- have or be able to obtain First Aid and BLS/CPR certifications within 30 days of hire
- pass health exam and TB test in accordance with PMS policies
- successful completion of criminal background checks

Job Duties
- prepare meals according to USDA Child and Adult Care Food Program and Head Start nutrition standards
- operate kitchen in compliance with New Mexico Child Care licensing regulations
- maintain cleanliness and safety of kitchen areas
- deliver meals to multiple Head Start centers as needed
- assist in inventory management and food storage
- adhere to First Aid and BLS/CPR protocols
- support program operations by reassignment to various centers as required
