Job Description

LLE Education Group is a reputable childcare and educational organization dedicated to providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children. Recognized for its commitment to fostering a nurturing and safe environment, LLE Education Group operates childcare centers that emphasize early childhood development, nutrition, and education. As a leader in the childcare sector, the group is known for its innovative programs and strong community involvement, continually striving to support families by promoting healthy growth and learning in young children.

Currently, LLE Education Group is seeking a dedicated Childcare Cook to join their team. This role is integral to ensuring that children in their care receive nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks that comply with strict dietary and health guidelines. The Childcare Cook will develop weekly menus that are not only balanced but also child-friendly and appealing, gaining approval for these menus to meet all nutritional standards. The position demands attention to detail in food preparation, adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols, and efficient management of kitchen inventory and budget. Additionally, the cook will maintain meticulous records related to food purchases, meal counts, allergies, and dietary restrictions, ensuring full compliance with local, state, and federal health regulations.

Working conditions for this role include a Monday to Friday schedule, offering weekends off, which provides a healthy work-life balance. The environment is supportive, with opportunities to collaborate with a skilled team of educators and staff. Moreover, the Childcare Cook will have the chance to train alongside an award-winning chef, enhancing their culinary skills within a childcare setting. Physically, the job requires standing for extended periods, occasional lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a busy kitchen environment.

The compensation for this position ranges between $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, and other relevant factors. LLE Education Group values its employees and offers a competitive benefits package, including paid leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401k plan, reimbursement for college credits, paid training, professional development opportunities, and a significant discount on childcare at their centers.

This role is perfect for candidates with a passion for cooking and childcare, who are organized, proactive, and enthusiastic about contributing to the well-being and growth of children. LLE Education Group is an equal opportunity employer that welcomes applications from individuals committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children through nutritious meal provision and excellent kitchen management.
