Job Description

Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington Avenue is a distinguished senior living community dedicated to providing an exceptional living environment for seniors. Situated conveniently near both Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, and easily accessible via public transportation, our community offers a perfect blend of independent and assisted living, memory care, and care suites across 115 senior units. Our long-standing commitment centers around promoting longer, healthier, and more meaningful lives for our residents, with a passionate team of caregivers devoted to healing, discovery, and education. We pride ourselves on fostering an atmosphere of respect, comfort, and supportive care tailored to the unique needs of every individual we serve.

We are currently seeking a diligent and skilled Cook/Chef to join our Assisted Living culinary team at Amira Choice Roseville Lexington Senior Living. This role plays an integral part in delivering high-quality nutritional meals to our residents, using standardized recipes to uphold consistent culinary excellence and meet our established care standards. The responsibility encompasses preparing and cooking meals that not only satisfy dietary and nutritional requirements but are also visually appealing to encourage consumption. The candidate will be expected to handle texturized diets according to International Dysphagia Diet Standardization (IDDSI) guidelines, ensuring all residents’ needs are met with careful attention and professionalism.

This position offers flexibility with a schedule that includes casual or on-call shifts during days and early evenings, accommodating a balanced work-life arrangement. The Cook/Chef will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment by adhering to scheduled cleaning routines, proper use of cleaning agents and equipment, and ensuring the separation of clean and dirty areas. The ability to supervise kitchen staff, manage daily operations in the supervisor’s absence, and effectively communicate feedback about meal and service quality is essential.

At Amira Choice, we understand the importance of culinary arts in senior care and strive for excellence in every dish prepared. This role not only demands culinary expertise but also a sincere commitment to the well-being and satisfaction of our residents. Alongside competitive pay ranging from $21.84 to $30.83 per hour, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that supports our staff's health, growth, and financial security. Join our dedicated team and contribute meaningfully to the vibrant community we nurture at Amira Choice of Roseville.
