Job Requirements
- Food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
- Minimum of 1 year of cooking experience preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Food knowledge including Soups, Saute, Broiler, Fry, and Pantry
- Ability to communicate comfortably with individuals
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, twist, and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work with sharp knives, hot plates, and in hot environments
- Willingness to frequently immerse hands in water and chemical solutions
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of closely related cooking experience
- Knowledge of food preparation and HACCP standards
- Experience in high volume or fast casual dining environments preferred
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform job functions requiring bending, twisting, and standing
Job Duties
- Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
- Operate all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and eggs
- Communicate ticket times and potential problems to management and servers
- Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
- Practice food safety and comply with HACCP standards
- Measure and mix ingredients and handle food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables
- Stock, date, rotate, and check temperatures of products
