Job Requirements

  • Requires food preparation skills and knowledge of HACCP standards
  • Minimum one year of related cooking experience
  • Experience in high-volume or fast casual dining environment preferred
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand for job functions
  • Frequent exposure to water, hot environments, and sharp kitchen utensils

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year cooking experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety practices
  • Ability to perform cooking tasks at various stations including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, and Pantry
  • Comfortable conversing with team members and management
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • Skilled in measuring and preparing food ingredients
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service

Job Duties

  • Prepare cooked foods following recipes and product directions
  • Perform all station functions of Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
  • Communicate ticket times and potential problems to the manager and servers
  • Follow menus, season, cook, taste, carve and serve food items including soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment
  • Practice excellent food safety and sanitation practices
  • Operate kitchen equipment and manage ingredient measurements
  • Stock, date, rotate, and check the temperature of products
  • Perform other duties as assigned
